PTSA (Para Toluene Sulfonic Acid)  

Applications for PTSA, P Toluenesulfonic Acid:

•  As a hardener agent of furan resin which is applied in foundry industry (Sand Casting)
•  As intermediate of dye chemistry,adhesives and specialized plasticizers.
•  As a dehydration catalyst in esterifications where mineral acids give excess carbonization.
•  As catalyst of many resin systems,such as resoles.
•  As an anti-stress additive for electroplating baths.
